Description:
This is a track I did about a year ago. It was in much need of remastering, and this is the best I could get it. Try to look past the sub par mix; the groove, and the lead licks are the focus of the song. I'm thinking about a vocal version with less soloing, but no ideas yet. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

well u know .... cool ... find a vocalist

It sounds Latin to me, so singing in Spanish might be nice, at least for part of the song. Really liked it. Lots of possibilities for lyrics. Thanks.

This is very nice. Great progression of playing and the melody has my hairs standing up. I agree with Char: it has a very latin feel to it. My vote is always for cuts, but thats just me (hehe).

thanks for the compliment. its always a plus for any musician to be recognized by other musicians; especially of your caliber. cuts could work well with this, I agree. vocals too.

... but again ... I was getting that Satriani feel ... and I am ONLY SAYING it cause I just LUV LUV Satriani .... also had a nice easy sitting in the snazzy lounge while drinking fancy drinkies feel to it too .. also a good thing ! I agree with Jack .. some vox would sound great on this.

I'm new to this site and computer recording, I think all you guys are awesome and wickedly creative. For my two cents, I think this song has a great groove and the lead licks have a very Santana feel. Whether that's what you were shooting for or not I think it's a very fun piece. Just for fun I'd try a Rob Thomas vocal style and keep the lead wailing through out.
Good luck with it.
