All I know about 12 string fingerpicking, I owe it to him.
It looks like one of his composing : it begins slowly, gentle, and accelerate to end like a fool !

Leo Kottke is a source of inspiration for me since my 15yo... and it's quite a long time ago ;-) When I bought my 12 string Lowden in England, the guy who sold it to me didn't want to sell it to someone who doesn't know how to play it... Great tribute -
Lovely, spacious opening. I really like the way you build that tempo. The last chord on harmonics is also very 'right'. The last time I heard Leo Kottke in concert, he spent lots more time telling stories than playing the guitar. But when he was playing, everyone was leaning forward in our seats, really involved in the music. You do the same thing here, drawing me into your beautiful tone, and then showing off some excellent finger-picking.
