Description
Two solid days in the making - more back ache. Fired up Logic yesterday morning and this happened. Not sure about the genre really. It's pretty heavy stuff.

Only one loop used, which I've mashed up, and my little keyboard. Groove monkey techno drums, three soft synths and a Logic bass setting.

Thanks for taking the time to listen! ;)

Very good track
Love the synth sounds. Good production as well, the sounds are all very loud and clear. Really impressed as it sounds professionally made. Well done.

Hey thanks!
Cheers D - kind of you to say so. I wasn't too sure about the drums actually. And the bass. Well, and lots of it to be honest! I got fed up tweaking with the master settings in Logic. I don't know what I'm doing, to be honest!

Thanks anyway. ;)

Logic Schmogic!
Logic is lovely when you get the hang of it. Logic 8 is much easier to use than the previous version. Hang in there!

Cheers Kenta. :-)

This sounds great
YOu may not know what you're doing, but your instinct is pulling you along nicely. The sound is terrific (I like those drums, by the way) and the arrangement is cool. The synth sounds are interesting, too. Not sure about the genre, but either way, it's very cool. Nicely done. Peace.

Thanks!
Kind of you to comment. Drums and bass - hard hard hard to do, but I'm glad you found them OK.

Cheers!

high energy!
Dave, great to see this. You get a fantastic clarity in your mixes, I hear some potential key change spots which would boost the energy level a bit, but that's just me :)

A really interesting combination of sounds, mixed really well.

Yes - my missus likes this one [for a change] and thinks I should make it longer - turn it into a proper club/dance track, so I plan to do just what you suggest in the near future. I shan't post it though!

Cheers. :-)

synth
some really interesting synth. I think it is more progressive than techno. to me this would have been great without any drums at all. Enjoyed!

Yes
I did think about leaving out the drums and it does sound OK [imho] I'm not too keen on genres really, but you have to put something in don't you? I used Groove Monkey techno drums, hence giving it that handle. But I know it's not really techno. I never know what to label anything, and care not really!

Anyway - thanks for listening and commenting. Appreciate that!
