Description:
This track was composed when alot of people on Macjams were going through bad times in their lives and some even deleted their home pages. The whole turmoil inspired me to do this track which even though has some sad sounds which invite self contemplation, like the track gets near the end, their is always hope and we should look forward to experiencing the joy of life. Even though the track was done a little while ago, it was not submitted as I hoped their would be some lyrics to go with it, but that never transpired, maybe one day, we live in hope.

Returning the favour!
Cool, cool music - I love all the "wordly" instrumentation. Very, very nice, and one for the pod I think.

Thanks!

Cool!
This is indeed an ambient track as the term is usually understood, but I like that 1/ you use a fairly sparse instrumentation, and 2/ that you use some real instruments. Did you play that flute, or was that a sampled part?

beautiful
that echoe-y piano is intense. you could do a remix of just that. i love the space you have left in here, it really lends itself to the whole listening experience and draws you in. this music takes the listeners concentration. really sweet track.

That
tinkly piano just sparkles beautifully. I like the way it moves from more tribal to almost space-like .. I envisage lost civilizations .. perfect for martian surface exploration I'd say.. the claustrophobic suit ..in vast spaces .. until the reeds came in around 3:51 .. and shattered that illusion for me... lol .. does have a nice sense of tension .. it's not ambient in the classic 'ahh give me a massage' sense .. (see how little I know about this genre! lol). Fine listen. I have demo versions of both Camelspace and Camelphat too .. pretty cool plug-ins.

This is definitely
one of your very best Keith. Soulful and deep. Love the separation and panning effects. The flute is inspired. Excellent.
Cheers

heya keith!
as i said in the email, terrific track. one of your best. so sombre and yes, at the end, hopeful! I miss it here, I am sooo busy at the moment earning my way to the usa (that rhymes...;-) ). Saving up for the Korg M3. On to the next track...
