Was a great honor to hear our great friend
Tobin saying he would do a blues colab with
me and I felt ..hmm yes that will be great
to back play with electric guitar ..so after
a while he back with a fabulous blues (R&B)
sound bed with great arrangment I thought
this worth taking it to the studio and work
it out there and I just did ..I borrowed
a Mexican Strat from the studio guy who s
a guitarist with di margio humbucking pickups!!!
so here its folks ...Blues from the McBlues band !

nice track my brother....
i can tell that you have never played the guitar before, as you sound a little timid....and the vibrato is a little stiff, but all the right licks are in there, and this is played with a lot of fire. I know how hard these blusy instrumentals are to play well all the way thru, and did well....my only other suggestion would be to vary the attack and tone on the guitar a bit for variation and tension.
All in all a good track...nice backing track by tobin...
a lot of hard work and it shows!

if you had a good electric and some time to play just electric blues, you would have it in no time. You have all the elements together, you need to learn to make it speak the way your acoustic does, or your voice does.

someday ... I stopped playin with Mr.K three years
so you can see how long .. I did loved the strats
but I m more into Gibson fingerboard ...for me it
was a chance out of nowhere ..pouring some blues !

You are always so humble but let me tell you that it was my honor to collab with you! This one was a lot of fun and way outside my norm and comfort but I am glad I did it as it has sparked a new interest in a different genre of music.
Lets do this again soon!

Feter, Ziti is correct in that you are sounding a little timid, but in the circumstances I think you sound really good. Playing something like this without having much recent electric experience (and on an unknown guitar!) makes me wonder just how good you're going to sound once you are able to settle down and concentrate just on music.
Great backing track by Tobin too.

Tobin & evolvweb, excellent backup bed, this is a nice chuggin-along piece... love the horns. Feter, I can feel you starting to loosen up and feel at home in this music. This must have felt really nice to play along with. Yes, there are rough spots, but you glide right through them and keep on going, never look back. This left a big smile on my face! The only mixing thing I might suggest is to drop the lead guitar back a little, the backing music seemed far away, and not "in the same space" as your guitar. But that is a minor technical suggestion, and this is a piece mostly about jamming with friends, which you do a super job with here.

the studio matching what Tobin wanted and what I wanted
to match so I took it as it is and layer my guitar
over ..the Fender has a sharp edge of sound its why
it sound loader I wish I used some deep thick strings
set Gibson ..but that what was available ..thank you

Well done friend! Even if you think you're rusty on the guitars I disagree. You got a lot of skill and play as if it were a piece of cake! It flows very well and captures your attention purely focusing on your jamming which is great. Sometimes I have a problem with that with too many things going on that people don't pay attention to the main parts but you sir got the balancing act right on! I'm going to definitely have to look into your other works since it's been a couple months since I was last here with so much college work. Keep it up! :D
