Description
Dracula 's castle , typical horror landscape .
This was used as the opening theme for a staged production of Stokers Dracula .
I composed it using Fruity Loops and string samples from DATA BECKER 2000.
The wolves I bred myself specially for the job . ( Joking of course ) got them from the web.
Enjoy at your own peril . Ha ha ha ( evil laugh )

I see the peasant playing the fiddle
at the top of a cliff, nervously, in the same way you whistle just to assure yourself you are capable of making a sound. The young woman with the ivory throat runs her fingers along the ivory keys, as if in a trance. No one can tell throughout the stormy night if it is the wind or a pack of wolves howling. At any rate, no one dares go outside. But they aren't safe inside, either, are they? Nice sound bite. Thank you.

Yes its the not safe inside or outside is what I wanted to get across .
Also in the book is the baby being fed to Dracula's minions.
Thanks for listening.
I hope you survived...
By the way you would make a great writer , if you are not one already.

Anyway thanks again .

Great use of
Loops and layers. Lots of feelings and colors expressed here. I like the environmental sounds you include - They sound like they'll segue nicely into an opening scene.

Thanks for dropping by .
Glad you liked it .
Very true there are a lot of layers to this.
I wanted the sound of the wolves to morph with the wind . Glad you picked up on this , you have a good ear .

Anyway nice to be in contact with you again.

harpy
The Harp gives the piece heart, until it is ripped from it's chest by the evil wind and wolves. Excellent thematic piece. Full of sinister chaos.
