Lyrics
It’s getting late or earlier, it’s really all the same
But it’s relative to me, i’m transparent in the twilight now approaching
I breathe in deep to keep from drowning in my apathy
If only i did care, about today and tomorrow or how i got from here to there
My mind’s like a traffic accident, there’s so much confusion with very little said
I’m kind to a fault, and never voice my opinons, though it may help me in the end
but that’s just the way that i am
There’s a difference between the first and last thing that you see
Though it’s not how you planned it would be, it’s a little off color and a little off key
But isn’t it strange how the world keeps on turning and never seems to change
All except me, I’m growin up and gettin stuck in all these ruts that I tried to avoid
And you think that you’re not much, just skin and bones that’s shaped by blood
You never complain when it hurts too much, you just stare at the floor so hard
but that’s just the way that you are
Just this week my father called and said “Son, I think we should talk
It’s that time in life when boys your age grow scared about decisions they’ve made
And I want you to know that I’ve been there too, and I admit that your old man was a fool
I thought I knew everything, but I didn’t know anything, Yea I thought I had it all figured out
Well, do you have it all figured out, do you have it all figured out?
We’ll I’ve got it all figured out now”
It’s oh so tragic how we restart beginnings and twist like fate at the end of a movie that you’ve watched every weekend since you were a child and those same stupid parts can always make you smile, like here tonight between state lines, you’re the one prevailing thought that’s crossin through my mind, while i’m frightened bout the future and the passing headlights, and my lips start to tell you but instead they say “oh, nevermind”

regulus
weighty verbiage. but that's good and you astutely
hit some nails quite square with those observation of
some society at large. Quazi Counting Crows meets
pink floyd quality and a very distant reminder from
an age of dinosaurs a name; Lenard Choen, (that took
a long time to remember), who was really good about
personal social commentary. Was known by many
songs but mostly for Susann. ✓ him out.
Right side percussin was not in balance w/ the left
drum beat. was within tonal quality but a little to
distractively present. Over all you have a pretty good
mix and professional sound. A little more polish
and.... it is...there.
Your at the gables before the door. Hope to hear
some more.
