Description:
This song originally appeared here in it's original, acoustic state. This is a pretty drastic change from that point, but I'm pretty sure once it's all finished and polished up shiny like, that it's a worthy "cover". hahahah
anyway, this is an extremely rough version. I recorded the guitars and vocals today, and haven't mixed ANYTHING at all. The vocals will have to be redone, as this is a pretty rough take; no warm up or anything. Dry throat. There's no bass... the drums sound wimpy.. etc, etc..
so this is totally not what it's going to end up sounding like when it's finished, but.... the song remains the same.

YOu know when reading your lyrics as you sang I thought you were tellin me to change what you were singing. Sounds like you doubled up on the singing in a few places cool effect. The bass and maybe some keys would bring things to killer point, Enjoyed!

Powerful version that really takes off from "I slip away...." It's pretty amazing to hear this elevated from the original, self-flagellating version into....well.... this.I'm looking forward to the polished one.

It is a bit of a jump from one to the other, and yes, a little less abject. Actually, I worry that this way it's a little too... typical rock. It's definitely a little more straight forward than most of what we get up to.
