Description:
the music is a gift to char. she is a generous friend. she is "charming". this is an idea from her. she spoke of the inner child. we all have an inner child. i wanted to write a lullaby. it is slow, gentle and soft. it attempts to describe wonder and curiosity. there are many things a child sees. however, this is a view from above. it is an adult with good and bad experiences of life, looking inward. it sees the inner child. there is small regret and a hopeful wish.

char wrote words and is singing. she completes the lullaby. i created a new char with choppy and paste. i changed her pitch with curves to create harmony.

please slow down. listen to everything. see the music through the inner child.

it is unexpected for me too. char is very gracious to add such sounds to the music. i agree with your thought. it is perfect. the voice is gentle and slow. it melts into the music. char is very skillful at lyrics and singing. it is an antidote for coffee. 0x0

And it works well. Char, your voice has a quality that reminds me of 'the standards' from the 40s. And that is unique these days. I hope you will continue to include yourself in MJ music.

we are unusual creatures. it is a compliment for the music. much effort is made to create a "soundscape", to sound unusual, calm, interesting. it is a skill you have. i attempt this as well. char complements this music so well. it is a lullaby for the soul. thank you for a comment. 0x0

This works really well. The instrumental soundscape and the vocal complement and enrich each other really well. Char, your voice sounds really good, with a lovely kind of vibrato that adds a sense of true emotion. Can't believe you recorded this through a webcam! Just goes to show - talent will out! The lyrics are nice and light at times, and sprinkled with darker tones, like all good lullabies. The music is really good, lilting and dance-like, and soothing. Very cool. A great combination of talents. Nicely done to both of you. Peace.

char has a very nice singing voice. it was hidden behind a noisy webcam and hesitation to sing. i used a noise filter to remove noise, and boost volume on the recording. perhaps your words will remove her hesitation to sing again.

it is music from my heart. it is joyful to know that you like it. i try to use my short time to listen to music in return. it is time to listen to your music. thank you. 0x0

know, for some reason when I saw this it struck me as an odd pairing. and it is, that's what makes it genius. almost reminds me of Korean pop music, slowed down and made more introspective. i love it. great job guys.

it works well, i think too. it is music slowed into a lullaby. perhaps korean pop music is too fast. they do not savor life if they move too fast. it was a surprise for char to offer to make lyrics and sing. and it fits well. i think that she savors life too. and so does michael2. your music is so skillfully invented. now i must listen to you again. 0x0

there is often a chill in ic42 world. however, char is antifreeze. she offers warmth to the lullaby. there is still a chill in the music. perhaps it is a good match? thank you for listening and thoughts. it is time to visit a new piece from you. 0x0

for the gift of your time in listening. It took me several times to get used to it. The words are very simple.
