Description:
This is my LIOLI 8 entry. The song is in an ambient jazz style. The Walking Clav loop appears twice, once as a synth loop, and once, slightly altered, as an acoustic bass loop. The song has two main sections. I hope you like it!

Very inventive &mdash 09/27/08 - 03:38:28 PM
Like how you did the bass line with the loop. The song has a lot of energy to it and is filled with sounds. Great track with lots to offer and much to enjoy. Love the ending too.

Slick &mdash 09/27/08 - 07:00:39 PM
Like the slick rhythms and changes you put into this one. Kind of modern bebop, with the fast overall beat. Maybe too energetic to be ambient, but very fun to follow :)

Thanks

Another fine example, &mdash 09/27/08 - 08:51:36 PM
of the power of the Super Loopers. This creation goes right to the heart of the matter in a in a circular route. The loop is there but Dr. LIOLI won't ever see it coming until it's way to late.

Very cool vibe and excellent work here.

reminds me of the soundtrack to a seizure-inducing video game.

This is really good &mdash 09/28/08 - 03:38:14 AM
I really like the panning beats, I certainly wanted to get up and dance. Love the breakdown, its very LTJ Bukem and very clever use of the loop. Nice one, really good track.

Cars Driving Very, Very Fast &mdash 09/28/08 - 07:14:02 AM
...like in those stop-motion films of cities where the sun rips out of the horizon and rises in seconds and people walk at 70mph in frantic bursts of speed. But things calm down for a moment, take a breath, and then crack up again!

This is great stuff - the layers of mood work very well, sharp blend of melodic and frantic elements bouncing off each other. Nice job!

I liked the other LIOLI entries too!
I really find these sort of challenges enjoyable. They're just the sort of thing to give off a burst of inspiration.

I'm glad you like it! I tend not to use old loops because I'm so busy with new ones. While I really like the new loops, the old loops have good musical qualities as well.
