Description:
More Sci-Fi Fun....

I am a HUGE fan of the new Battlestar Galactica..... One of the greatest shows ever made by the Gods.... Crank this as it is heavy and intended to nuke your face.... this is another tune from the next Falo 6 record "Vial Number Three"

Hope ya dig.... All sounds performed by yours truly(live drums, guitars, bass, vocals)

d/l and spread around like a virus for all the other fans to use and enjoy!

Peace and Future....Ian

Lyrics:
As I've walked among your kind for 40 years
I've discovered what I truly am
If I could flip the switch myself I just might
For now I attend secret meetings with those like me

Boss I'm just a frakkin, a frakkin skin job

So Say We All

Will Gods listen to a machine??

Airlock

Earth is barren
Splendid
No

Spool the drives
Make the jump
We must get together if we're ever gonna make it now
Saddle up
Make the jump

Have we found the 13th tribe?
What is this debris on the ground?

Hardware:
slingerland drums, ludwig snare, fender hm-5 bass, fender single coil strat

Wow man I really dig this one. So heavy, but melodic too. I love the big evil guitars in the outro. This is my kinda metal, dude. You are a talented fella. Thanks for the download.

thanks for digging it.... as far as the end guitars..... it is funny when tuned down how far you can stretch and bend those strings....one friend thought I was dive bombing on the bar but I am actually just pulling the strings all the way across the fret board and sliding back into place..... good times

thanks again amigo....

peace and future

sayeth the Loud. Oh, that was a different show...

'nother fine thrashy bit from you, Ian, thanks. I'll go get my drums replaced now, the volume was all the way up and my cans were on.

Heavy, thrilling and chilling intoxication of music. Exciting sound textures and production. Top job. You made that fender work hard to make that sound, love it.

Battlestar is hands down my favorite show of all time. This song COMPLETELY AND UTTERLY does it justice. So say we all!

Cool. And by cool, I mean totally sweet. &mdash 09/30/08 - 01:53:42 PM
This song has a really interesting arrangement. I like the way the song twists and turns and keeps the listener guessing. I think there are a few transitions that are *a bit* disjointed and could be smoothed out, but overall it is a compelling song structure.

The intro was the hardest part for me to wrap my head around, but I just loved the change to the "Will gods listen to a machine" melody. Almost beatles-esque caught in the middle of some true sonic mayhem. I will need to listen to it several more times to really get the changes down in my head.

At to Battlestar Galactica... I haven't seen the new version myself but have many friends who I consider to have good taste who are diehard fans. I really need to check it out... but I basically have cut my TV watching down to an occasional sporting event and HOUSE.

Oh, and how in the world did you manage to record that outro without your strings going massively out of tune. If I detune more than a 1/2 step I have problems keeping in tune throughout a track, even if I'm not doing huge bends like you are in this one.

anyways... great job as always. I'm a big fan of your versatility (but you already knew that, did you :).

OK, so your song inspired me to start watching... just got through the miniseries and the first episode of season 1. I am already officially hooked. Great stuff, although your song lyrics have proven to be somewhat of a spoiler which is a bit of a bummer...

I haven't checked out the new Battlestar G. show, this tune friggin' slams!!!

I grew up watching the original series which had me hooked back then. If I ever get the time to sit and watch, I'll have to check out the new ones. Thanks for sharing this track Ian!
