I Think I Can[Music: Davisamerica/ Additional Lyrics: Gail60]
Norah:
You were so shy back then
Even just holding hands
I think I can
Remember the air so clear
You whispered in my ear
I know I can
And the world was safe and warm
Love felt so right
No matter where you are
I'll find you
And hold you so tight
I think I can
John:
Hello my name's John
I think you are the one
Maybe love you undone
Love you from sun to sun
I know I can
Pay attention to everything
That troubles your mind
The song I will sing to you
Will make it alright
I think I can
The song I will sing to you

Particularly this part. the love in this is oh so eviident. The emotions in "I Think I Can" ring true of the life experiences that all too often happen between lovers.
Gail and David, you did an outstanding job on the vocals in this.
And Paul's orchestration is simply wonderful.
Bravo

like the talent in this song. Wow, you are all so great! This one is so emotional and clear... the love of money kills relationships, but love still triumphs if we wake up before it's too late.. Sweet vocals, Gail and David. Wonderful Jessie voice, Char! Dick, you narrate so well- we will be asking you to narrate on everything after this. And Paul, Wow... your playing is exquisite. Gail's too. Ahhh... this is sweet. :-)

I really love the narration!
Deep and sad. Abandoned love.
Beautiful song.

To me this is an extremely critical track. It was important John Grand have a human side. Most of us here are musicians not actors. Char helped us bridge the gap with this track and introduce "Norah" ... John's soul. Car is also heard in the choir on the other tracks. This from someone who once said she "could only be an audience" :-]
I know Gail and David had a wee bit of discomfort on "I Think I Can". It is an emotionally charged song ... eve more so with the lovely orchestration by Paul Page. I think there is true magic in this track and I always listen with a smile ....
Things once again are nicely tied up by DWL.
Guys .. "I Knew You Could"

"Char" who has a car ... which has nothing to do with her singing ... unless she sings in her car. Darn ... I thought you could edit this stuff!

This is great collab.
I can't help but associate the richness of Paul's tune along with the vibrato of Gail's voice with that of the Stylistics.
It must just be the combination. Boy if we ever did covers for the Stylistics, I'd be using Gail's voice and Mr. Page's orchestrations for sure.
Now, back onto.......the rest of the collection.

I love the lyrics on this. The vocals are superb. I will be listening to this for years to come. Thanks. Terry

Would you come and take care of my family? Free room and board. My dogs don't bite. Loved your narration! Terry

I think Jack said it above, to grasp the family perspective of things. Well sung and performed by all.
