Over the last few days, I've posted songs from the home-made EP I recorded last year. This is the last one. If you like them enough to put them on your iPod, here's some particulars:

Artist: Nolan
Title: No One
1. Fine
2. Funded
3. Sunrise
4. Solitude
5. Two Seconds

Again, this song features Jim "Pooey" Mitchell's bass, and the mastering skills of Jim Bouchard.

Thanks for listening and all the wonderful comments.

Lyrics:
A shadow falls, a siren calls
And we are locked out here now
Everything's gonna be fine
A garden dies, a doctor tries
And we're told to sit down here
Everything's gonna be fine

Listen to the conversation
People telling how it's gonna be
But we know nothing of it yet

Everything's gonna be fine

A window breaks, a Holden bakes
Now the sun is getting warm
Everything's gonna be fine

A mirror lies, an hour flies
And now once again we're late
Everything's gonna be fine

Listen to the conversation
People telling how it's gonna be
But we know nothing of it yet

Everything's gonna be fine

An empty room, a missing bloom
And I've been away forever now
Everything's gonna be fine

An hour flies and now we're late
Everything's gonna be fine

Hardware:

This is the first Nolan song I've heard. It's great!
The playing, vocals and production sound 100% professional. I'm a new fan.
Cheers

Nice combination &mdash 10/03/08 - 09:35:53 AM
of all sounds. You have truly some of the best combination of pop acoustic rock singing sounds i've heard here at MJ.

Your harmonizations are spot on to me. Love the positive approach to the lyrics.

Your vocals really go hand in hand quite well with the music.

Way To GO

ENJOYED !

I flat out love this song. I love hearing it every time it comes round in shuffle play on the iPod, and I also seek it out...

Great melody, great lyrics, great vocal...

If there's any justice in this world, this song gets to be a big hit somehow and buys you the house of your dreams...

Here's hoping...

And I mean... &mdash 10/03/08 - 09:36:30 PM
...isn't it cool to think that someone half a world and continents away is listening to stuff you wrote, played and sang and loving it?

Plus, my wife loves it, too...

One of my BIG favorurite Nolan songs. And in a superb rendition! (all to often musicians tend do less charming covers of their own songs, but this one is AT LEAST as good as the first one .. no it is BETTER with a second thought).

Beautiful!!!
