Cool song I can see why it's your favorite. It is really strong on all levels. I am sure that the intonation is what is going on with your guitar now. You said this was recorded a year ago and I can hear a distinct difference with the tuning. It isn't as far out of whack as the later recordings. Please don't get me wrong mate I'm just trying to help is all. I had a strat copy a few years back and the intonation was a real pain in the ass, although it was what prompted me to learn to set my own guitars up lol. I was spending a small fortune at the shop as every few months I had to get it set up. If I had known how easy it was to do it yourself I would have learned years earlier lol. Those strat copies are notoriously bad for shifting intonation as slight temp changes and humidity play hell with them. Good luck mate. I'll be by for any new stuff you post, you can count on it. Nice tune! This is my favorite of yours - been going through your catalog since I saw you visit my site. i'm a sucker for a heart break song - I have a similar song but i lack your cool accent so didn't carry it off as well. Great lyrics - i like the image of the girl leaving and the guy not following - reminds me of the old story "he left for a pack of cigs and never came back." I like the simple instrumentation -drums are just right - fills are good - and i like the simple one or two string solo. Great download, thanks!
