Description
Hi everyone... I used to post actively a couple years ago under the pseudonym Aaron Hill, then disappeared for a while to work those songs into a full-length album. I wanted to share a couple, so here's the first! It's called 'The Kills That We've Made', and strangely enough, it's about gay spies. Why the topic occurred to me, I have no idea.
This is off of an album called Network Stars, under the "band" name Lucky Ghost. Truth be told, there is no band, it's only me. But I'm working on getting a live version going to play out in NYC.
All the best,
Seth

Lyrics
briefing the girl on the customs
wiping the sleep from her eyes
the one thing I know is business and she
need not apply
counting the minutes to sydney
falling asleep on the jet
a taste of the drug you give me and it
helps me forget
allegiances to which we swore
the qualms that surface right before
the sentence is laid
the kills that we've made
jumping at night over london
the orders are safe in my vest
pretending that I've come undone at the
sight of her breast
making a deal at the border
pretending that we've never met
a taste of the love you give me and it
helps me forget
allegiances to which we swore
the qualms that surface right before
the sentence is laid
the kills that we've made
confessions whispered by the dying
the hand you held that wasn't mine
we're handsomely paid
for kills that we've made
the morning is cold gray and windy
thinking of all that we said
betrayed by the kiss you give me and I
hope to forget
allegiances to which we swore
the qualms that surface right before
the sentence is laid
the kills that we've made
confessions whispered by the dying
the hand I held that wasn't mine
we're handsomely paid
