Description:
This piece was created for a Dream sequence in "De Osynliga Vannerna" (The Invisible Friends) - formely titled "De Osynliga Systrarna" - but the music didn’t quite work out with the scene, so it is now played as the audience enter the theatre and take their seats.
It uses the sounds from my Emu Proteus 2000, with me scratching on my acoustic guitar. I’m shaking the metal tip of a jack between two strings to get the effect.

This is great music for the purpose you describe -- audience entering the theatre! It immediately puts one in a mood of expectation and anticipation, en effect making the show begin as soon as they enter the theatre, and not just when the curtain rises. Very cool.

played. It gets attention. I am thinking of kitty cats or otherworldly furry friends trying to wake me up so I can feed them. Purring, soft growls padding about, knocking things about and an alarm clock going off. Pretty inventive. Thanks.

The wonderful thing about ambient music like this, with so many interesting sound effects, is that the listener is immediately taken into a fantasy world of their choosing.
In my case, when I first heard one of the high-pitched sounds which slides upward, it reminded me of a baby elephant. This in turn propelled me into a fantasy of all these miniature toy baby creatures, climbing out of the toy box when their child "owner" left the room.
In addition to being perfect for music playing for the audience before the show, this would also be wonderful to accompany an animation sequence as described above, or any kind of animation.

it is a different planet for me. these are friendly voices. however, they are not of earth. it would be nice to meet them. they seem playful and friendly. it is a reminder of a movie "the dark crystal", perhaps. frankly, we are not in oz anymore? it is well crafted music and creates great curiosity and some humour. thank you. 0x0

Wonderfully inventive and clever use of sounds. Almost Reichian in the repeated motif.

This is very good, it kept me engaged and made me expect that something (I don't know what) was coming or about to happen. So for the use you described, it is perfect. Good job.
Texture is what makes this so interesting. There's minimal rhythm and tonality, and even the structure is open, almost a void into which all these wonderful timbres are artfully placed. Like Japanese flower arranging with sound. Fine work, thanks!

lovely Christopher and just perfect for setting a mood of expectation.
