Description:
This is without a doubt the silliest, happiest and loudest tune I have ever produced. Seriously.
It started nearly a year ago with me toying around with the Oxygen controller, where I picked a bass line, two corresponding chords, added some MIDI drum loops, and then it was just sitting on my hard drive for forever, or up until a couple of weeks ago, when I hooked up my EWI and started playing over the riff.
All of a sudden I ended up with a short melody and then it hit me.
I knew exactly whom to call, being a long time fan of both of my co-players, "mbehar" and "B. Flat".
And the guys delivered. Mori replaced my clunky MIDI bass with the juiciest acoustic bass riff ever and threw in a classy solo as well, Donald supplied me with a rhythm guitar ride and a spectacular gypsy style solo; both contributions were to die for.
I can't neither get rid of a silly grin on my face, or stop bouncing, if I walk, when I am listening to it :).
Thank you, guys - you've made my day on this one!!!
Enjoy =)

Phew! I was starting to get an uneasy feeling when I read that this was built on a bass loop -- not that I have anything against loops, but the sound of the bass was incredible, and I was thinking "whoah! You can get bass loops to sound like this?" until I read that mbehar did the bass, which explains why it sounds so fantastic.
It's all really well done, and as you say, very happy, and there ain't nothing wrong with that!

...a real acoustic bass in a capable hands, which can make it really walk (or strut) =) - thanks to Mori for that.

Jazz is kind of slang for playing around, isn't it? Sure sounds like you guys are having a lot of fun playing playing along with these latin rhythms. Jazzed up!
Thanks

Nice
everybody.
The bass intro is just a vacuum sucking in the listener.
Delivered to the sweet, very hip sax solo.
Guitar is amazing/ i would have wondered what to play over this and 'B' found the exact right thing, and so well done!
Is 'B' playing the rhythm guitar too/sweet jazzzzzz
bass solo is primo /that man is incredible

The melody is so solid, and well executed, memorable and infectious...
Sax always rules with me and Ilya is tops!

fun and groovin' is this tune! Ilia, I loved collaborating with you and Mori on this. You have a lovely sound on sax. The final mix is outstanding. And the flow of the tutti sections into the solos is perfect. The bass from Mori breaks it up and then the arpeggio section lets us enjoy the chord progression before we plunge back into the head. Kudos, my friend!
I'll work with you anytime anywhere!
iG.STUDiO
...and thanks for the advise on the mix! Will jam for sure!

SALSA ya ya ya ..... I did "eventually" chance to listen to this ..... I opened it yesterday ( and had to save it for later ) ... and found it here all opened up for me tonight .... 3:30 a.m. and oh HOW DELICIOUS indeed !!!!!! OK .. shhh buy this one did indeed come together nicely ..... I feel like breaking out my dancing shoes ..... (the red ones) and my flouncy dress and dancing ... hmmmm all I need is a nice hunky chunky muscley (how does one spell that anyway?) dancing partner .. know anyone? .....
iG.STUDiO
I can see it as a salsa, totally (recipe: just add claves and sprinkle with agogo bells). Glad to make you happier! Thank you!
