Brilliant stuff here. Like the atmosphere it sets. Like you said, "Acoustic ramblings from the attic."

Kind of an Elliott Smith feel, too. Which is a great thing.

Cool,

Dave

fair enough...
... Feter, thank you my friend. This came together this morning as I was experimenting with this new Zoom Acoustic Guitar effects pedal. The step-down beginning rhythm part came to me a couple days ago... fair enough.

just noodling.

Ramble on...
Very nice Jack. Mellow pensive mood...

Roomy mix!

Our attic is very small, so I don't keep anything in it except an old Greek grammar (heh-heh)...

Glad you've not forgotten about us here bro.

Be well!

pensively roomy...
here in my attic. Time and place to mellow out. Thanks Mike.

Mellow introspection
That zoom thing is cool.. I love the feel of this; it sounds spacious, yet cozy. if I buy a zoom thing and find an attic, will I be able to play like you?

Yes...
Guitar plus attic plus zoom and a little mellow introspection thrown in... no doubt about it, and you will sound even better. Thanks Roxylee. So good to have you drop in.

Roomy...
Is an attic a posh loft? Anyway, nice tune and lovely playing. Mellow sound with lots of space. Nice.

Well attic music's supposed to be 'lofty'. You achieved it here. Nice one!

but not too lofty ; ) ...
Thanks Rich for the nice comment. Just a bit of guitar noodling with a new effects toy. The attic atmospherics does help though...

Ah, wonderful .. nice mood .. I'm seventeen again .. it is 1969 and we're on a festival .. it is summer and we're sitting in the grass talking while the band is playing through the night .. we all have long hair .. and the future is eternal ..

Sorry I'm so late
to this Jack - I didn't realise you were hiding in the attic.
I'm sure it's all been said above - but this really is a lovely piece of music that just digs in and relaxes. Lovely emotional playing. Beautiful.
Cheers
Len

You're not late...
Len, I've been holed up here in this attic thing. A couple small forays out... Not quite sure what I'm doing. But it's nice to have drop in. Thanks.

Dusty Miller of the family Compositae
Mellowness radiates out through attic fissures and warms the night canopy. An old tube radio dials into muted tones of sepia and burgundy.

Soothing sweetness
This tune just inspired me to comment on here, and I haven't done that for way too long a period of time. Very nice ramblings. Warm, intimate piece of comfort ya got here. It certainly does vibe w/ the mode that I'm in right now. Got one leg flung across my desk with the keyboard in my lap and enjoying a lazy balmy Saturday evening here in the big city.

Perfect track to chill to. Thanks, Jack! And thanks for the free grab, too! - Gladly took one to go. Macca

Washes
Even though it kind of winds up there at the end, this plays like one random section of a l o n g introspection. Well-played and very pretty.
