Description
this is an open colaboration tune posted on Chris Cihon's Pickquick Records page,. it is a killer little blues bed and i solo'd and solo'd.... i did this one take, no overdubs, as to keep in line with my live is best philosophy. at times, it is a tad rough, and sloppy, but it feels pretty good to me, so i kept it. i used the various footswitches on my new Podx3 live for the first time, and that was a blast.
i cannot say enough good things about Line6 and thier pedals. i stopped using my ibanez wah the second i played this one. Using Gearbox from my computer, my ability to tweak and subtly change the tones of the wah has made it the best wah i have ever played.
the tone i recorded with was a slightly tweaked EVH Eruption tone which comes standard on most all pods. ( funny thing to use for a Blues song...heh)
i took the drive down, the mids up, and the highs and presence pegged all the way.
i supplimented the distortion for the middle solo with a tube screamer sim, as well as the chrome throaty wah sim.
i played 3/4 of the song using my Seymour Duncan Jazz pickup in the single coil position. i was lucky enough to get my wiring right the first time when i installed these p'ups, and love the strat-like tone the Duncans provide.
the middle, highly distorted lead was played using my tail position Duncan Jeff Beck. i really had slot of fun, again, and a huge thanks to Chris for such a killer song.

provided a great bed for you to play with here. The solos and the tones you achieve sound better than great to me. That wah certainly is the business. Impressed as always.
Downloaded. Thanks.
Cheers
