Description
It sounds a little drawn out to me without lyrics. A work in progress. Any feedback would be terrific!

Sounds like
I know, it doesn't sound very "warlike", does it? lol. I started writing the vocals for The Art of War but still haven't finished, so pieced together, it may make more sense.

You kidding? I would be honored to be your PROTO-ge! Count me in, twice.

Perhaps not warlike, but does have that sense of drama.
Are you sure this is your "first time?" These tunes are good. I'll be listening for more...

Ha ha
You should have heard my first songs - I don't even listen to those. lol. Yeh, I've been playing with GB for about 6-8 mos now, I guess - very little at first though, I was a little intimidated by it but once I got comfortable in the GB skin- I couldn't stop! I'm enjoying the hell out of it. Thank you so much.

This grooves
I love Trip Hop stuff and this seems to fit the bill nicely. I think some kind of vocals that you may be planning on will make the song complete. There is some nice tension between the parts and some nice resolving sections to. I wonder if some of the sections seem a bit clunky in their transition. Again vox may help clear this up a provide more direction to the different riffs you have going on. The overall mix seems pretty good. The bass seems a little low in the mix, but just a bit, wouldn't want it to get too heavy or muddy. The string sounds give it a "Delerium" feel, which is cool because they are masters of lush trippy string based arrangements. Keep honing this one.
