Description

uumm. The music was something i nearly binned as it sounded too familiar, so with a bit of playing around i brought it back to life. I could not just have it as an instrumental so thought i would use ideas that reflect some of the sick, English sense of humour we are famous for, apparently! It was meant in the best possible taste.

please feel free to tell me what you think! I am having a problem with my speakers and headphones or possibly it might be my ears, but, can anyone detect any clipping here? Thanks for listening.

Darkness, darkness...
What am I missing? Maybe it's just because I'm going deaf from my headphones habit, but I can't make out much of the "lyrics." I'm guessing it has something to do with importing women from Asian countries, but that picture ...

I like that bass sound. I really need to graduate to a real bass. It makes so much difference. The guitars sound great, and the background wall is very effective. Great music. I'm intrigued by your comment that the music sounded familiar. I don't recognize it as anything but tokai.

you know, the riff... it sounds like i have heard it before. The mix is again lack of vocal volume, I had heard the vocal sample so many times i just took it for granted it was legible. As i have stuck it on at the end, i didn't want to lose some of the music which was still in its quiet moments.
If you are interested in hearing the main sample better, go to you tube and type in the title to the song.

I love the sounds you're getting. I think again, this is very reminiscent of Massive Attack from Mezzanine era - maybe that's why you think it sounds too familiar???

That said, it's a great mix, and your bass sound just rocks! Like the guitar phrasing - it's gratifying without being ego-wanky!

	Mr Libby sir! How is one? Darkness is a dish best served with miss strat and miss whammy. I took that piccy 15 years ago as part of a series of photographs i took and exhibited called 'castaways.' creating this total virtual place, vivid with lots of visuals, slopes and drop offs, dark places hard to see what's in there, but something lurks...

Couldn't sound better to me
the space and roll of the energy is fantastic - your playing is excellent and the tune is wonderfully creepy - just in time for Halloween. Loved it. My only crit is that I would have liked to stay in the high freak out mode of the first break for longer - like minutes longer - I can never get enough of the heavy twisted stuff. Great track.

If Rob Zombie could get past being Rob Zombie, he might be able to do something with this much character and depth. Excellent Mix, the Heavy bass and plodding thunderous sound really fit the mood of the song. My only comment is that it seems like the song is forever building, without a real noticeable payoff. Maybe that's what you are going for but I was waiting for some kind of bigger guitar solo or solid drum pattern to come in and really get things moving. I wonder if you could write a companion song to this, a part II if you will that answers the sow intense grind that this produces. Glad you brought it "back to life".
