Description
This one was a fun one to make. There are some bassy sounds in here that bug me though and I can't seem to pull em' out without compromising the sound I'm aiming for.

Welcome -
it's great to see a fresh face and hear some new music. You'll enjoy it here, I'm sure.
This is a great bed to lay some improvisations over. Tenor or Alto Sax would sound great.

see why you chose the title you did very funky and upbeat! Great use of sounds. The mix sounds good. I think there could be more added to it . I enjoyed it!

Thank you all...
I feel very welcome here. When I started messing around in GB, I never thought it would go beyond my walls. I was nervous putting my stuff out there for the first time but you guys/gals have made me feel very comfortable in doing so. Thank you. I look forward to checking out your music and being inspired by all of you.

Hi Tracy
Yep, agree with others here: this is pretty accomplished for someone new to this whole thing. Those big 'low' notes that come in about 1:20 sound okay to me (in headphones) but if they're bugging you try opening up the graphic equaliser (for the instrument causing the trouble) and just nudge the very lowest frequencies down a bit - it's good advice which someone passed onto me recently, and really works without losing the overall effect.

Good luck and keep it coming -
Phil

Thanks Dolby
Wow...thank you Dolby! That's quite a compliment. And, thank you so much for sharing the tip - I will certainly take this useful knowledge with me back to the drawing board. I don't know if I would have just figured that out on my own and if I did, it would have taken quite a long time. Much appreciated!

Funky
Very funky! Nice song title. Something sounds a bit off but I'm not sure what. I think maybe the drums are a tad too bright for my taste or there needs to be more of a low-end in the song. Great funk though. The more I listen to your stuff I really like how you incorporate a lot of different genres into your work!
