Description
In honour of the Canadian Security Intelligence Service, a tune in the surf-spy subgenre.
I think this turned out better than my last Surf tune "Buenaventura," but please check that old one out too, if you like this kind of music at all... (I'd like to get at least one comment on there!)

Exactly
Combination of surf and spy music. Really great instrumental. Nice guitar work. Enjoyed much.

Man Or Astroman?
Great stuff. I love it when it's somewhere between surf and spy.

man or astro man
congratulations on winning today's game of "spot the influence"!
I will admit that Man or Astroman has been rocking my iPod lately.
Thanks for listening!

WHOA!
This is great, especially the intro and end, both of which flat rock. Some really cool changes in the angle of attack as the tune rolls along - and each change has its own sound - not easy to do man. I'm a big fan of surf and dragster rock (hence my avatar - that's shirley muldowney). The cool thing about your stuff is that I never know what to expect. Thanks for the DL.

twang is the thang
this is something the godfather of surf, dick dale, would be proud of. you stayed true to the cloak & dagger on a surf board theme. while throwing ninja stars at the beach bullies, that are kicking over sand castles.

the pitch shifter on a guitar track was a very nice touch.

pitch shifter
good ears there mr holman!
i think an octave pedal would have sounded nicer, but I couldn't justify to myself the 130 dollar price tag charged by our local music emporium.
Many thanks for listening and commenting!

007____
This sounds like a new theme song for the 007 movies. Awesome work - everything sounds great - Not sure about the "Panning" (a bit much but working)

I like it and enjoyed - Thanks for sharing,

mvh : )

panning
I'm not sure how that panning effect got in there...
mistaken check box on tremolo effect or something like that?
anyway I must have decided it sounded ok to me in the end...
I agree it is a bit much and for my next surf tune I'll try something different.
got to have tremolo though!! LOL

glad you liked and thanks for the listen!

Yes!
Love the surf sound , I have used it alot in my songs I always get the ragga san fran surf mix. This has a great free flowin vibe to it. I like the double snare parts too too cool. This would be great for drivin down the highway on the way to the beach Excellent!

Love the jangle and bite in those guitars! You do a great job coming up with stylistically appropriate melodies . I love the octave bit around 1:10. Has an electric 12 string thing happening that is so appropriate for the genre. Great phrasing throughout. Cool bends! This is a definite download!
