Description:
This one started life as two trombone loops - which you can hear at the very start. They didn't sound much to me like trombones, so I altered them with the Albino synth. All the rest was made by me, either on my keyboard or by using the pencil tool. The Albino's arpeggiator came in handy too! There are 19 tracks altogether. All the synth sounds were made with the Albino. The drums are Apple house midi loops, but I've changed them quite a bit.
Thanks for listening. :)

I could get the synths sounds to work like you do Dave. The arps and variety of them in this piece sounds great and the spacing gives a nice fresh open feeling to the whole song, cheers M

Synths play themselves - especially those arps! They just need tweaking. I wish I could sing and play an instrument properly! Thanks for the kind comments.

I played the trombone once upon a time, but I tell you, it did NOT sound like this. I really envy your skill in transforming two of them into something as sweet as this.
Only, my imagination goes in the direction of the picture rather than dance-CLUB. I can see some 50 or more speakers put out around that lake playing this song on full volume - and the dancers would be dryads and mermaids and the like. Wouldn't that be something?!
Else, I can only echo Moviz. Thank you for a great piece of music!

I sometimes wish I could play some of my stuff, really LOUD, and out in the open, just to hear what it sounds like. I never can though, next door neighbours bang on the wall at low volumes! The idea of the speakers around the lake is really appealing, I must say. As for the Dance/Club genre, well, as is often the case, I couldn't place this tune anywhere really, but it seemed sort of dancey.
Thanks Henke, oh and it was a cracking game yesterday. I was there, in my usual place!

...real fine pure sounding with an excellent beat!
I have neighbors as well who complain at the drop of a hat.
Found out around when they go to work I can cut up.
They should move to some sort of monastery but there
even the monks sometimes chant before dawn!

My neighbours [we call the "The Clamperts". They even have a howling dog and I'm sure they eat hog-jowls!] are real pains. And, alas, they never seem to go out. So it's low volume all the time I'm afraid. :(
Cheers!
You must be a very happy person to keep coming up with these tunes. This isn't dance music. It's hold-hands-skipping music. Anybody who's a bit down should listen to your stuff. Instant smile. And again, although you're always modest about it, fantastic production.

I'll take it as a compliment! As for production, well I can never get it quite right, seems to me. It's a job though, were I younger, that I'd have loved to have got involved in. Learn the trade properly, so to speak, instead of endlessly fiddling with knobs and sliders, without really knowing what I'm doing.
Thanks D. :)

When I first saw the name of this piece I thought it was a description of my investments with Templeton fund. Which have been in full retreat, but this was much better than the stock market.
I agree with the others here, your synth sounds are very good. Well produced with a solid beat and good changes. Too often, in my mind, dance music is all one dynamic, but this changes and kept me involved.
Nice going!

I hope they've not been too badly affected by the economic chaos. Don't know why I called it this actually - it just came into my head. As for dance, well I know not what genre it could be, truth be known!
Thanks for listening and the compliments. :-)

Nice one!

Miserable weather here at the mo. I wanted to do something happy sounding to cheer myself up.
Thanks for stopping by. :-)

Very agile and apt with the arpeggiator. Made for some nice background to paint your audio landscape on. You got a really nice feel for layering things down in a tasteful way.

I can see why you wanted to cheer yourself up at the moment here in England. Good sounds and well put together. The arpeggiator has good rhythms there. Nice one Dave.
