Description

......I was bored. I like parts of this, but other parts I'm not so struck on. This was an experiment, really, to see if I cold take the basis of a song (in this case, tit-willow, hence the title), and build on it to create my own song that bears no or little resemblance to the original. I am aware it cuts off a little short at the end, sorry about that. I'm still figuring out how to avoid that.

Yeah..
..it's a very interesting experiment. Sounds like you have a natural/instinctive understanding of how to build a tune. The introduction of the various instruments works well, and the end result is very pleasing. It does have the feel of a requiem, and I think I can just about hear the 'tit-willow' phrase, but as you say it has become it's own thing. reminds me of a Peter Greenaway film score - which is a good thing!

What do you need to figure out about the ending cutting out?

	I used to have... ...a parakeet who would perch on my picking hand when I'd play guitar and sing along. Or just sing along from wherever she was in the house. She passed away and I miss her dearly. Very pleasing, indeed!
There is a flute note at 1.02 that you could hold a bit longer, that's the only cutting off I can hear, really. The end is quite OK to me, even if the fade out could be skipped altogether, just hold that long last note and be done. For a requiem it is more than satisfactory, but I think it could also be added to with some majestic builds from 1 minute and onwards. What equipment do you use on this (hardware, software...)?
