Description:
This Radio Play contains some mild explicit words
This recording is just plain stupid, but since I've never been know for smarts, I thought I'd present this little, I don't know what to call it, so lets just call it a short Radio Play.
Don't get your hopes up as I'm not related to Edgar Allen Poe in any way. Also, any self respecting writer of horror stories, if you'll pardon the expression, wouldn't be caught dead associating his or her name with anything on this recording.
So it is what it is, a fanciful attempt on my part to get you to chuckle, even if only a little, during this Halloween season. For a little more traditional musical number about things appropriate during Halloween, see the song linked to below.

So now, for your listening pleasure, or horror as the case may be, I invite you to take a walk with me through the out house of life by listening to "Halloween on Ice"
Enjoy, and Happy Halloween to all and to all a spooky night.
Thanks for listening,
Ed
Voices: Mike, Max, Ken Spike, and "The Killer", by me
All the other voices are played by the sound bites of characters we've all come to know and love over the years.
Music supplied by Logic and Garage Band loops.

Fun piece. Nice mix of soundbytes. Must have taken a while to compile them all.

I have a bunch of old clips I've collected over the years, and to do this piece I went out and found a bunch more. It too a while to get it where I thought it would work, but it was worth the effort.
I decided to have a little Halloween fun, and I did. I hope everyone who hears it at least gets a chuckle out of it.
Thanks for listening Ace, glad you enjoyed it.
Be well and be cool,

Great work Ed - I really enjoyed the listen - and had quite a few good chuckles too. You must have an amazing sample bank if this is any indication. Thanks for posting.

Glad you stopped in for a listen and got a chuckle out of it, that was the reason it exists.
I do have a lot of sound effects and sound bites, and I've found a few more to do this one.
Thanks for the comments, glad you enjoyed it.
Be well and be cool my friend,

I thought a little light entertainment was in season so I through this together just for kicks. If it got a smile and a wink, I'm good with that.
Tanks again for listening, glad you enjoyed it.

Love the RHPS clip at the beginning. Overall, this was excellent. I like when people can take clips and make a coherent song/story out of them.

It was good for me was it good for you? lol
Glad you enjoyed the trip into a very strange mind. (mine) Thanks for listening and the kind words.

You have put together a terrific amalgam of voices and music to create an excellent play. Great use of music and truly inventive use of voice samples (I think the Monty Python bit was my favorite - talk about out of the blue!) This made me smile! I chuckled more than a little. Nicely done. Peace.

I got the idea to do something special for Halloween last year at this time, but I was way too late to get it done. This time I remembered early enough to get this thing worked up in time.
The whole purpose of it is to get all you guys and gals to have a laugh or a giggle, or even just a smile. Since it's done that, it was more than worth the effort. Thanks again for listening David and the great comments.
Be well and be cool my friend,

This is my first Halloween listen. I think you've raised the bar pretty high. So many clips - and the scary thing is, I recognized where so many of them came from:) Good stuff!

That was kind of the plan. I figured if nothing else, people would get a kick out of hearing these particular clips used out of context to try and tell a story. It was an exercise to see if I could make folks smile a little, and maybe even get a good laugh.
Thanks for listening my friend and the kind words. Glad you enjoyed sharing my insanity.
Be well and be cool,
Ed
