What the hell, I had to put the explicit tag on this, so sue me, I say shit a couple times. I just don't think it's all that explicit, it's just the word the song demanded I write. Sorry if it offends anybody.
I wrote the words a while back and wrote the music and recorded most of this in GB a little less of a while back, maybe 3 years ago or so, and I recently pulled it out of mothballs and remixed that recording, replacing the drums and adding some wacky percussion stuff and an organ part and re-sang the vocal and polished it up some in Logic and here goes nothin'. I think I got the idea for my other song Comfortable Rut from this song. Sort of a shorter song for me, and I resisted the urge to extend it pretty well, I think.
Not that I've had such a hard life, but I've had my share of ups and downs.
