Description

This one was inspired by the night my son and I sat out in the driveway back in February watching the lunar eclipse (Yep, I work that fast...). I started it that night, I think, but could never quite get it the way I wanted (as usual...) and it drifted to the back burner. Then Feter's call for songs for the family made me think of it and I got it finished. It's not really coffee shop style (unless it's the kind of coffee shop with a grand piano in the corner) but I hope it's in the spirit. Thanks, Feter, for the nudge. Unashamedly sentimental, and straight ahead - hope you like it. Peace.

Wonderful lyrics... The soundbed comes in perfectly and cleanly yet doesn't cover your vocals at all.

man this is such a quality tune. everything is exactly what the listener expects to hear but done in a memorable and distinct way - honest lyrics, strong vocals, and terrific composition (i love the bumps and hollows in the song). you're a modern Gordon Lightfoot. i'll be listening to this on the way home tonight, traveling under the stars. thanks!

A song for all seasons, I could hear this anytime throughout the year and it would make a great backdrop to whenever I was chilling out.

like how the
drums kick in and the singing really has a nice pop rock feel to it. Like the the way the lyrics weave their magic. LIke the synth and piano adds and of course all the rest.

Love the way it has a nice commercial pop feel. Enjoy the feel of love that is so universal here. Quite striking.
