Description
Here is my remix of Ember by Drakonis (http://www.macjams.com/song/13185). It has taken a little while to evolve and correct, but it has finally arrived. I'm really happy with the composition and I have to thank Eduard for not only giving me the chance to do this but also for giving me some tips on making the track better. Hope you enjoy the track as much as I did making it.

This is great
Love the sound and the production is just amazing - it sounds terrific in the phones. The percussion is very effective, and the synths are great, reminding me in parts of New Order. Great arrangement, and brilliant dynamics. This is excellent stuff! Completely pro. Kudos. Peace.

Excellember
Wow, what a transformation! This has intoxicating ElectroIndustrialDarkwave sounds throughout, very cool. I enjoyed hearing the intermediate stages this went through too, and this final version is awesome. The final tweaks of clamping down the crunchy drums a bit, and drawing out the lead-in to the piano break really works.

One of the things I love is when somebody's variant of Ember is so distant that you only catch glimpses of the original... and you have really done that here, you've stripped her down and dressed her up in a whole new wardrobe, she's 21st century galactolicious here.

The ending of this is way cool too. I can tell you had a lot of fun, and put a ton of work into this.

ttfn,
Drakonis

Wow ....
Ember .. is indeed marching to the beat of a different drummer here ..... she has had many face lifts since her debut - and this one sits among them now as a "whole new taste in the mouth" .... she sparkles and shimmers .... great job .... (the pulsing drum beat almost reminds me of a tribal war chant) .... but with the synths added ... makes me wanna "dance" to it! Nice interpretation.

awesome. your progression is solid. one of the best embers imo. Agreeing with Eduard, the hints of the original make it so tasty, love the piano-filled bridge. Again, Awesome! love, marc
