Description:
This is mainly a Jam. Simple repeating bass line with cool jazz brass, percussions and piano.

I like creating music that has sort of a driving or motion feeling. This piece was inspired by the highly complex nature of music being created through collaborations of great musicians throughout the world.

I would love to collaborate with artists out there, please send me email if your interested.

Take a ride on the e-train on the super highway for fun.

Hardware:
Song created with the Korg Triton Synth, GarageBand, Mackie Line Mixer, AKG mic, Powerbook G4. No loops other than the drums in GB.

Software:

Nice tune &mdash 11/11/04 - 10:25:47 PM
sounds to me like you accomplished the motion feeling.
Its a smooth tune and took me along for the ride.

I play the trumpet and felt like picking it up and throwing
in a brassy solo. Alas, I am out of practice!

Matho, I would greatly appreciate it if we could collaborate. I always loved the
trumpet in jazz pieces or any brass on that matter. Lets hook up next time for
sure.

Totally cool &mdash 11/15/04 - 07:37:58 AM
Great chords, very hip groove, impressive band feel, and
fantastic comping piano. Nice balance between the
section of the band. Could have used a more impressive
ending for such an impressive arrangement. But a great
piece. Totally cool.

Thanks Tobin, I think the song structures and lengths are improving for my
pieces. Although, I agree the ending may be a little weak, that's why I need
musicians such as yourself and others here at macjams to help me improve
them.

Very solid &mdash 06/25/05 - 11:14:53 AM
This cut is inspiring. Makes me wish I could get beyond
GB loops. Would love to produce music like this. Very
professional in my view.

Corny comment title, I know...

Great tune. Nice build-up, nice flow; hypnitic. As has already been
suggested, the ending seems less convincing than the rest of it, but the
rest of it is awsome.

Cool &mdash 05/30/07 - 10:43:22 AM
Nice modal bed man, ala Miles's "Milestones" type changes. Nice to stretch out on. The kind of changes everybody can partake in at whatever level and have a good time.

Love this stuff.
