Thanks
I have actually written the music to battle scenes and used similar percussion sounds.I grew up with a lot of celtic music and I guess it's a recurring theme.

Niee
celtic bolero type feel. Kind of has a Mel Gibson vibe to it.
A nice listen indeed. Love the bagpipes, the transition has that terrific Enya feel with the softness of it. I enjoy this style of music alot.

WAY TO GO !!!!

I think
I know what you mean about an Enya feel. The synth sound is similar to an Enya piece I know now that you mention it. I'm glad you enjoyed it

big
Great big sounds here - awesome percussion and pipes. You really captured some great emotions here. What program did you use for this? The bagpipes are outstanding. Great string soundbed underneath supporting it all. A beautiful piece. Wish it were longer! And my ear kind of wanted to drums and pipes to come back in the end to finish it off. Thanks for sharing this!

I'm glad you liked it
The drums are from a program called Stormdrum and the pipes are Uilleann pipes.

Ach, laddie-
Ye need to give us more information on how ye wrote this piece. So many wonderful sounds! 'T'would be a wee bit better if you had decided to come back in with the A section again for the ending- give us a bit more of that highland piping and those drums.

Noble satisfaction
A wonderfully good feeling resulted from listening to this piece. The ending did leave me hanging, as if it were a prelude, and my ear wanted a rousing big finish, but I loved the sense of noble satisfaction you created.

Oh boy,
My favorite: I love Celtic sounding music. Either a battle or a triumphant march. And there's even a bit of wistful romance there, for incurable romantics like me. I am very touched and glad you have enabled the down;load. I will probably wear this one out. Thanks.

Char sent me here
... and I'm very grateful she did. This is lovely. What a bold and heartwarming melody, exquisitely harmonised. You have a deeply authentic feel for gaelic melody, and it's a joy to listen to. Thanks.

Thank you
Actually don't let the username fool you. It's more about me than where I'm from. I live here in the USA and have forever and a day but Scotland and Ireland will always be home. That is where we came from and musically calls to me.I actually haven't posted much celtic music but most has never been recorded to the right degree. I'll have to work on that. Thanks
