Calling all Mezzos and Sopranos. This song needs some mixing down still for sure, but I want a sweet singer to lay a smooth blanket of velvet over my bass and drum chocolate rolls.

In general, I channeled hometown heroes the Meters on this song. I'd been hearing a lot of that funk lately here, and it spilled out of me over the tablas. Those tablas are a collection of 4 samples from an internet site I mixed up and rearranged. Everything else is me. I admit to stealing and reworking one synth riff from a GB horn sample.

Nice merging together of funk and world music. Really has a Thievery Corp. vibe.
