Lyrics
I know your name
I've seen the plan
Reading your dreams
Looking to land
We have no fear
We're ancient friends
Voltage is high
the shock never ends

Fall from the sky
Fall from on high

You're like a mirror to my soul
We are forever changing roles
Giver of light, receiver of fire
Making me whole

You burn me again
Your furnace in wind
A light from the source
A terrible din
You sear to the heart
A bolt from the blue
This voice from the past
Is synging anew
But I hold the charge
I'm taking the load
Just foolish enough
to Stand in your road
I felt it before
I live for the pain
I look for you now
Wherever there's rain

Fall from the sky
Fall from on high

You're like a mirror to my soul
We are forever changing roles
Giver of light, receiver of fire
Making me whole

I hold the power
I caught your light
Playing the game
Toying with might
You want it back
but I'm like a child
Clutching my dream
You're feeling riled
You know my name
You know the plan
Reading my dreams
of fleeing the land
We have no fear
We're ancient friends
the voltage is high
the shock never ends

Fall from the sky
Fall from on high

You're like a mirror to my soul
We are forever changing roles
Giver of light, receiver of fire
Making me whole

Love EZ's stuff...
Easy to work with, atmospheric, well executed and produced, a great canvas for my strange poetics. Thanks EZ!

nice queensrychian delivery of the melodic vocals! great ambient/nin bed. dissonant guitar work (in the left channel, during the breakdown) is a nice touch. great collab!

Excellent partnership...
This spins EZ's already cool music into a dark roller-coaster through Daniel's brain. Love the Venture's-like surf-guitar in there. There's not quite enough change/relief from the sameness of tone and rhythm as we go from main section to chorus, at least for me... I would have liked a little more variation in synth voicings or rhythm. But a rather minor point. Overall I sort of got lost in the swirl of sound and words, and cool harmonies, very nice stuff you two!

Nice
The lyrics are great and work very well with this soundbed. I would concur with the suggestion of bringing the vocal up a bit. Nice dynamic arrangement, and very cool sounds. This is hypnotic and engaging. Nicely done to you both. Kudos. Peace.

Nice dark funky atmosphere to this track...reminiscent of Wolfgang Press (UK band on 4AD) in places. Great vocals and groove
