Description:
This tune is not finished... I may not even do anymore with it, but it is here to present to the MJChorus for whatever is out there - it can be used for collab if anyone wishes. This is mainly a tune that I was trying out my new Cannonball sax and new condenser mic. So if it can be used somewhere, have at it. This is my 3rd week with MJ and am having a great time here. Having the ability to share with everyone here is very meaningful and I appreciate the professionalism that everyone has shown each other and myself. Boundless had a go of it and he added some really fine interpretations... helped the song, it did... balanced it out with his fine talent! go here... Not really polished and at times I loose control over the horn...

Great tone and cool sax melody line. Nice sax harmonies and riffing. I too play a Cannonball (Big Bell Tenor) absolutely love it. I'm putting the finishing touches on a song with a lot of that sax playing so stay tuned. It's nice to hear another horn player on MJ and hear the recording technique. I use a simple SM57 to record into a small yamaha mixer then into GB. So far I've had great results, much attributed to the quality of the Cannonball horn than anything else. Welcome to MJ. I'll keep an ear out for more of your tunes.

I love that horn. Thanks for the positive feedback . maybe we could collab. I have an alto so if you need a different voice let me know....

I love everything about your playing.. tone attack... nuanced... I find the drum loop a bit distracting in that it dominates the sound scape... I think a producer would seek to frame that Horn... I'm no expert in this genre though..
wow great squeek! you've been playing awhile

Wow - thanks for the comment. Coming from you that quite a compliment! When you say 'frame' - I am not sure what that means.

Was looking through your songs for that Sax sound! Glad I found it. You should record more of that thing, it rocks. The condenser is really catching the nuances of it too. You must be happy.

I agree with ya- its all a matter of opportunity though... the mic is a good addition to the toybox

Great tone the sax. OK - I download it
and I'll have a shot at it.

Cool riffing and Great Tone. This cool. I'm eventually gonna write another type of Soccer Moms composition. When I do, I'll post it.
