Description:
Tune #23 for International Tune-a-Day Month is a jig. It's November in Oregon so we expect rain on most days but today I can see blue sky which is always welcome this time of year. I sometimes wonder if it's cheating to write such an easy tune but when I listen back maybe it sounds better when you can follow the melody and not have it get lost in too many notes. I'll listen again tomorrow and see what I think then. Constructive comments are always welcome.

pleasant and danceable. Once you get it practiced, it might sound better a little faster for a jig, or, add a sweet guitar backing, slow it down a bit, and you have a nice celtic tinged waltz.

a tune is "easy" when it's RIGHT--when each note sounds as if it's SUPPOSED to be there--that it's Just The Right Note and another note wouldn't work half as well.
and when you get the blink of lightning that "gives" you the "easy" tune leap and fly with it!
when i "hear" it back in my mind, i hear it a tad slower, more lilting, a dotted rhythm; read kristyjo's comment, and yeah, can hear it as a cajun waltz...
and i still like it as you played it! so a tune with FEET!

A. You always say the right things. Both you and Kristijo are correct that I need to work with the tune more. I was just in a hurry to get out the door and walk in the sunshine for a change.
