Description:
Trying this again, a bit more restrained. I hear something a bit more whimsical in here somewhere, not sure what yet though, a bright distant synth of some sort if interesting, but everything sounds too brash. Thoughts as always welcome! Thanks for the listen!
Lyrics:
I had forgotten the starsBright may they shine forever,
Blue light, moon light
Neon sparks replaced,
But at the heart of it all,
Don't let my bright coat deceive you
I'm just a country boy,
Lost in the city lights,
I'm just a country boy,
Lost in the city lights.
("Wild West" Hum)
Knew I'd grow old from the start
Nightly I try surrender
But I know I will fight
Through my darkest hour,
And through the rush of it all
Don't let my tight frown deceive you,
I'm just a country boy,
Lost in the city lights,
I'm just a country boy,
Lost in the city lights.
("Wild West" Hum)

Doadars Uncle
one of the more beautiful songs I've listened to, lately.
Wonderful!

I think your vocal works very well on this; there is soul and feeling, and I think your delivery really gives power to the words. I see what you mean about being more restrained, and I think it works. I'm not sure about more instrumentation; I know what you mean about something else possible sounding too harsh. Maybe a soft organ? Or perhaps it just doesn't need anything else? Either way, this is a very lovely track. Nicely done. Peace.

has a nice soft sound the vocals airy sound fit well with the atmosphere of the instrumental. like how the multiple vocal tracks are put together.

Introspective and thoughtful.
I really like the layers of voices almost on the edge of audibility.

I clicked on your banner and found this.
I agree that there s nothing brash here (the main vocal track and should be lowered and the other voces should be given more exposure but that´s is just a matter of taste).
Great voice and performance!
