Feter
what a nice confession of a stressed confusion feelin
wow ...really your spirit express alot here even if
it sounds like random hints of expressions ...very nice
job ..thnx alot for sharin !!!!
edpdx
Thanks Feter! Letting your feelings be revealed in a song is tough but it helps you a lot to understand a whole lot more about yourself, when you hear it again.
Cheers!

simplistic way you constructed and played. It seems so emotional and you 've done it with limited notes.
Goes to show the POWER of notes and how to move people!
Thanks for sharing!

Your comments and words are very well appreciated.
Thank you very much thetiler

...in experimentation...especially when the content is unsure...
I'm with you on this...a beautiful piece...my thanks for your sharing it with us.

...the content is "unsure" because, as the title says...it's "confused"...it's really quite perfect, really.
I'm not sure if my comment "confused" you or if you were citing the name of the piece. Please know that it touched me, whatever your reason.
edpdx
I was referring to the title. When I was composing it I had a lot of raw emotions that need to be deal with, confutation is what I felt at the moment.
English is my second language and sometimes I struggle to find the right words to get a message across.
Thank you for your very nice comments.

slipping through the crack of you soul Ed and coming out into the daylight for a visit with the rest of us.
Beautifully done with nice control on the mix to let the music talk for you and to you.
A beautiful piece of music Ed, thanks for sharing it with us,
Be well and be cool my Oregon friend,.

Beautiful mix of emotions. I love the way each instrument seems to express its own emotion, with the piano almost bringing them all together and yet playing its own emotion too. I like how you managed to get the idea of confusion across while still making a piece that is easy to listen to and relaxing at the same time. A very difficult task, and very well performed. Though I would have preferred for maybe an extra bar or two at the end, just to let the strings fade out, perhaps?
edpdx
Thank you for feedback and comments. Yes you are quite right I should have ended it with a few more bars. I will post one with new additions.

I can hear the confusion but it comes across as though the the confusion is caused by some sort of sorrow. Abrupt ending? good all the way through, ENjoyed:)
edpdx
Yes, there is a lot of sorrow/pain and is a working progress to purge it out :)
Thanks for commenting
edpdx
are hard to deal with and music is a great way to bring them out. There is pain everywhere trapped inside oneself, expressing it releases sadness away little by little, like an hourglass turned upside down.

and that comes with confusion. We do what we must, irregardless. Most of the time it works out well. This is not nearly long enough because it takes time to work out solutions. It is enchanting and evocative. Thank you for this and for your next, longer version. :)
The Infinites
Classic in every sense - touching. I hope you can fix the end; I could have listened to another few minutes, never mind bars!

I feel like this is a piece of "abstract" art. Ie: it doesnt fit the mold of "normal" music but rather a unique expression not always interpreted by others but none the less a pice of art(music). I mean that as a compliment.
edpdx
of what I was feeling at that moment in time is what came about.
I take that as a very nice compliment
Thank you for dropping by.

edpdx

.. delicate, light, meandering and soothing .. sunset of the day kinda mood captured well.
Only thing I'd change is the very end: too abrupt.
edpdx
is a lot of inspiration in a sunset or sunrise, it really gets the mind going.
Thanks APB for listening

What is a PSR K1? I assume a casio or yamaha type keyboard...if it is are these the internal sounds from it, if they are this track is even more amazing

I am sitting here at school looking out a big window at the Appalchian Mountains and this was a fitting song. It arroused images of peaceful mountains that have seen a lot of termoil. Very nice piece but seemed to just drop off at the end, leaving me wanting more. Very nice.

Beginning is very subtle. Like the way you put parts together to create a surreal picture. Fasinating approach. The end is very abrupt. Nice though.
