Description:
I am posting this at someone's request. If anyone else would like to have a go at adding percussion and/or other instruments or even vocals, please give it a try. I only ask that I get a note after you post your version so I can be sure to give it a listen. I don't have email notification on everyone here (yet!)

sound you get. Nice jam, reminded me of Supertramp (roger davies?) cool progression. These sounds from the one clav?
peacepiano
Good to hear from you. All the sounds on this recording are from the clav. The percussion loops I used to keep time are stripped away.
dajama
a lot. Very nice sound, and the melodic inventiveness is excellent. Great changes and dynamic switches. This could go in a lot of interesting directions! very cool. Thanks for sharing this. Cheers. Peace.

Well, two comments in the same day. I am honored. Glad you like this. It is sort of a repost with the percussion taken off. I am hoping to get some percussion or other instruments added in.

and the syncopation here.... there's a feel of Hogey Carmichael here in parts too, i.e. 'Hong Kong Blues' (am I going back a bridge tooooo faaaar? LOL), cheers M
Moviz
Hoagy Carmichael even! M
peacepiano
Hoagy Carmichael--My dad was an HC fan. But my dad rarely played music in the house (my older brother did most of that before I took over). So, I am not real familiar with the sound, but the name is legend. Thanks for the comparison.

I hope someone with percussion chops gets ahold of this and posts it here soon.

Thanks. I see 7 downloads, that's a good sign that someone is trying their hand.

from a "wanna be" keyboard guy [me] ... your work always makes me tap a foot and go .."man .. i need to practice more!" seriously ... any new post from you is always ear candy !
peacepiano
Happy to keep your foot tapping. I always think I need to practice more, too. There is so much that can be done on the keys...

Its all up for grabs, Love the the layers so much to hear man its flawless every note in line. I like when the elp sounding lead comes in. Excellent!
peacepiano
Thanks for stopping by mr bandit. Maybe you could mix up some rhythms for this?
thoddi
Cool blues feeling over this with some spaced out synth impro's here and there. Nice touch on those keys!
peacepiano
Thanks for listening. Listening to your new one right now :)

this is some cool stuff and great playing. love the sounds you chose. a great hopping, movement in the left hand kept the piece flowing nicely and just incredible work in the right hand. great tune. it needs nothing else.
peacepiano
Glad you like the tune. Its been a while since I recorded this, but in parts it sounds like there are two left hands playing :) The simple bass-line is recorded separately.
