not bad
nice rythm. I liked the mixing of flute and vocals. I have some trouble with the strings ... maybe there is some improvement to seek there (instrument, volume, fading...).

Take care,

Strident!
This is a very rich, almost hymnal (is that a word?) track Charlie, very uplifting and, well, glorious. How i'd love to see the movies you must run in your head!

The
composition in this piece is much better than the sound that we get, which I think is due to the shortcomings of midi instruments. It was really just the strings that were sub par, but I tried to play live strings in my ear while listening to the tunes and I think what you have composed would sound great. Alas, if only we such extensive resources! Nice track overall. Thanks for sharing.
You have a point Moses.
The strings are from an earlier and unfinished work created and played on a Yamaha synth and existing now only as an analogue file.
One day I'll have to recreate that in midi with good string samples but for now we have, as its somewhat cryptic description says, something old and something new. Still I'm happy you enjoyed the composition.
Best,
Charlie
Yeah...
I think I may have come off more negative than I mean. What I mean to say is that this piece sounds fine, but live instruments would truly bring out the beauty written in this piece.

A triumphant theme. Love to hear it very loud in a theatre. Carries very well. Is that you in the artwork?
