Description
I enhanced Chetrix 2, I am calling it "Two Riders Approaching" based on the lyrics to JImi Hendrix's song.
I always loved Jimi Hendrix's "All Along The Watchtower". So is a tune based on his words: "Two riders approachin and the wind begins to howl".

I loved Chetrix
and this is even better! Excellent work.

I could stand to hear the snare drum a tiny bit more in the mix. I could barely hear it in the phones. It adds a driving force to the tune!

wow
Best thing I've heard for ages. You mix the acoustic guitar in with drums, bass and strings so well (as well as playing the darn thing so expertly too!).
I really liked the slide guitar part - not too much but just the occasional taste - perfect.
I swear I could smell horse sweat and leather by the end!
cheers
steve

a favorite
All along the wachtower has always been a favorite, and Jimi's version is really remarkable in how he managed that cool sound and technique at the time it where done.

Nice mood, and cool slide guitar here Bill:)

Having patrolled the Watchtower on stage for more years than I can count, it's always a pleasure to hear someone else, who knows what they're doing, put a new angle on it.
Nice one, Bill! Jam on,
Rich

As this develops,
it just keeps getting better and better Bill. Chetrix was great, but goes one further with all the new dimensions of sound you've added.

Great track Bill, and even better on the production side than Chetrix

:)
I still prefer solo guitar from you Bill, but I have to say that this is the best integration of other instruments you've done so far. I watched "The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada" last night, and this would have made a great soundtrack. Excellent movie by the way.

Beautiful playing - I hear bits of "Ghost Riders In The Sky" as well as some interesting chord changes. Slide is a winner.

Excellent post Bill. You've outdone yourself.

Nice!
Your playing is very impressive. This has a very distinct "spanish guitar" flavor to it with splashes of classical phrasing and blues slide. Awesome! The combination of that with the other instruments in the mix gives it a very wide soundscape. Great soundtrack material. Love it. Your placement of the strings is spot on. Really enjoyed the"horns". Any plans for more of them?

well done
Nice playing all around on this. Well conceived and produced. Theres a hint of "Asturias " in there. Definitely perfect for a western soundtrack. Really like that Youtube video on your page too. Fantastic variations on "Johnny"
