Hey Thanks! I think you're right about the mandolin... I think I'll give it a try. Thanks again for the kind words! Check out my latest song called Southside

A breath of fresh air... ah man the first couple of syllables had me immediately thinking "well it was all, that I could do..." you know the rest lol. Anyway this is great! I've been looking for some authentic, high-concept country here in MJ land and this is the ticket. I'll have to look and see what else you've got out there. A perfect tune - evocative lyrics (like the "light from the cigarette" line), nice playing, great "back porch" vocals. Looking forward to more... Check out my latest song called Get Away with Murder Eyes (5XArms Cover)

Wow..this takes me back to some great memories when I was a kid..smokey living room, a woodburner, guitars, mandolins, banjos and lots of folk & bluegrass music. I like the simple sound on this track, but I would be really tempted to grab a mandolin and throw some extra rhythm and fills in there. I went and checked out your other tune, both variants...nice work. Hope to hear more.
