Man, you can sing! You really do a terrific job intertwined your vocals. The harmonies are great and the lyrics are always very interesting.
I also like the guitar sounds with the cheap electro drum machine sounds. Nice keyboard parts too. A very well crafted/performed song. Just wish I could download it!

Fun song. I've listened to all of your stuff and like most of it. Especially Never Wanna Be Like Them. One thing I've noticed about your songs is that you choose one chord progression and use that for the entire song. That's fine, but it gets a little stale after a while. You put in enough changes in melody and instrumentation to keep your songs interesting, but I'd encourage you to experiment with mixing things up rather than making each song one repeated chord progression. You have a voice that is fun and distinct and I like the directness of your lyrics. Thanks for sharing your stuff here!

but as i wrote it i really hated it .... until a while, after about 50 more listenings, i liked it so much and now it's my favorite =D
and thanks because of the tipp with the chords...i don'T know if i write songs i mostly write the verse first and in the other moment i find another melody for the chorus on the same chords...so i will try to change chords also, but this will be very tough for me...!! =D

Firstly, the chorus is brilliant. Like how the drums come in a later verse. This is right up my stream. Great dynamics.

regarding repetitious chord changes, another way to add variety would be to put a bridge section in somewhere, like before the last chorus...
just something that sounds a bit different to give a break before returning to the chorus...

While I agree with Moses... that you could use some musical expansion in your work... you certainly do make the most out of what you are currently writing. I think the expansion will come naturally, as you keep working at it.
As it is, you've got a good sound with some real musical sensibilities and a good ear for creating an interesting production. I look forward to hearing your work as it evolves. ;)

hehe jah i also think that it comes naturally...and i doesn't have to be now, so i'm young and i think i've got a lot of potential, which anytime will grow and grow...but at the time i just right the songs out of my mind and don't want to concentrate too much on the chords or something like this, but i'll try!!!

thank you very much, i will not change i will ever stay as i am, and if i get famous i won't let the success change me, but i want to develop and i intensively dealt with chord progressions and i found out that if i take the 1st, the 4th, the 5th and the 6th step of a major scale i will get beautiful harmony...i will try this in my next song....hope it sounds good then =D
so i really know what goes on in the world, and i'm really interested in it...i won't let my head be turned around by anyone..i'm very bullheaded =D so if i want to do something i've got to do it!!

I came back to this song to write a comment about Not My Phone- my son told me this after hearing this song. He told me about this friend he knows. This friend had a phone exactly like another friend's phone. He had been visiting this friend's house and left it by mistake. The owner of the house was out of the room when the phone rang and his girlfriend picked it up (and it was the other guy's) and another woman's picture was popping up on the screen while it was ringing. There was a brief heated discussion and before they could figure out the mixup the girl accused him of cheating and grabbed a knife from the kitchen and stabbed him. He went to the hospital and she went to jail and was charged with assault. They are no longer involved.... and so it goes.

omg that's really brutal !! i'm really shocked now ... but it's interesting how these things happen to otherrs too..i mean i wasn't stabbed by her hahah but shit happenz ! but this is weird, really... you should never freak out only because someone was "cheating" on you. and that the phones had been mixed up is even worse..kids are too violent these days...they just can't talk about it and just beat on it..very very stupid...and it's the best for her to sit in jail, not running around on the streets..!! thanks for telling this interesting story !!! i really appreciate this !!
