Description
A rough draft of a new song. I finished it and sent it to my buddy GG who added the vocal harmonies. I've asked him for more, but thought I'd post this version in the meantime.

Constructive criticism/thoughts are greatly appreciated.

Lyrics
Not quite sure what I'm gonna make of you
So I'll just sit back and watch you do what you do
Time will only tell if you make the final cut
got to take it all in from back to front

Now I peep my ears listen what you got to say
but the words never meant a damn thing anyway
cuz its all about the twist and torque and the tone
come and pump it out loud through the microphone

Verse 2:

The time's arrived for the frontal attack
got to play more keys than the white and black
got to mix it up so it's thick like gumbo
cant afford to trip, slip up, or stumble

Minute by minute now it's left to right
maybe loose as a goose then you're coming back tight
what's down is up what's up is down
got me running in circles like a rodeo clown

Chorus:

It's all about the delivery baby (Gimme Gimme)
Get inside my periphery baby (Gimme Gimme)
You don't have to petition me baby (Gimme Gimme)
Come on deliver that symphony baby

Verse 3:

Tick Tick Tock cant you hear the clock ticking
better hurry up if you want to get your pick in
ask myself, "is it time for change?"
or more of the same in a different price range?

Cuz it might be time that we finally realize
that there's more to the chicken than the breast and the thighs
See there's more to the game than what meets the eyes
of a bunch of old men playing Lord of the Flies

Chorus x2

nice one
i laughed at the line "the words never meant a damn thing anyways." since you obviously put some thought into the words. i like the song, the wordiness of it is cool. if i were to give some constructive criticism, i guess it would to see if you can vary the drums a bit. other than that, sounds good to me. good to see you around again cranking out lines like "a bunch of old men playing lord of the flies."
