Description

Bud invited me to take his recontextualization of Bryn's piece a step further... and I couldn't resist. I added some dub bass, two guitars, piano, and some backward ambient vocals. Someone may want to add even more...

Always a treat to work with Bryn,,, and thanks to Bud for the invite.

Okay look I'm not one to criticize but that photo is giving me a fright!!!!! I'm sure that's intentional though so I respect your artistic choices. Now for the important part, the music! It's AWESOME!!! Totally absorbing. Wonderful. Love it love it love it. Big time, seriously, really!

This is terrific...I love your additions to Bud's reworked version. I particularly like the vocals you have added and the way in which this has given even more coherence to the structure that Bud created

I'm gonna go with ramona and say the baby picture freaks me out. But the music - now THAT is just very cool. I really like your vocals, the backwards ones very cool - took me awhile to figure out what you were saying...lol. Almost could be a sort of lullaby for, um...that...um....baby. Loved this Daniel. A great reworking and cool additions of bud/bryn's stuff.

This strikes me as...
...a soundscape. It chugs along pretty much with one chord and rhythm. But what you've done with the added instruments and especially the backwards vocals is very effective, especially the little "swells" that come into the vocal. I do wish this piece WENT somewhere, though. It has set up such a terrific mood, but it pretty much starts and stays at just about the same location.

	Precisely Paul... It is a soundscape... with no development. It's sort of dronelike.... and perhaps hypnotic. Sometimes repetition can be effective... but I can see your point about direction. 	Repetitve Too much the same thing all along , for my taste , even if what you did is good for a part of the track .
