On rhythm
I almost made this song iDM. My original idea was to make a complex pattern of melody and rhythm, because the person I wrote this for was diagnosed with ADD and I figured that such a complex song would hold his attention. I ended up with a somewhat constantly moving melody with the driving, energetic trance beat to match his bright, consistently happy persona.
