Fantastic vocals and I wont' say who they remind me of in case you're not a fan, but they sound like someone very famous!
EEFliess
are you thinking Elvis? yes, no, maybe?
well I described Adam's voice as "Elvis Ocasek"
aclarke
Please tell me! heheh- I've heard numerous comparison of my voice on past songs- some that totally surprised me. So yes, my curiosity is peaked. (btw, thank you for feeding my ego!)
lavalamp
Reminds me of Neil Diamond, which can be cool.

Kinda of reminded me of Neil Diamond. I like the back up answering . Maybe a bit more layering there. More voices I mean. Bring the drums up a bit. Great writing!!!
guitapick
Rock n Roll, dude...
I can relate to the lyrics...

Would like to put my vocal on this if i had the orginal backing,
Song sounds a bit forced could do with a bit ore drums and production.
dajama
This is great stuff. The song is great, filled with energy, lovely melodic touches, and a great instrumental balance. The vocals rock. I think there is a Cars vibe coming from the backing vocals (and a bit from the synths), and the attitude and verve of the lead vocal is outstanding. Lovely stuff. Nicely done. Peace.

adam sings his ass off....this is a hoot!....elvis okasic is very true....
voice sounds full and rich and as always adam is right on...
nice parts, eddie, but the drums sound very canned...i think you can get more punch out of your drum parts with some compression and eq...
i have been lucky enough to work with a drummer, and he very often helps me tweaking the eq to bring out certain parts of the kit...but all the parts sound great and fit together very well...and the forward momentum is terrific.
deep bows to you and adam!!

Gee but I don't get to comment much on stuff, because so much slips by me. Adam's voice is pretty ideal for this type of rockin' tune, and it's a cool tune, at that. In terms of critique, think the vocal is a bit too much out front here. It has a great presence but it makes the backing sound more canned because of its entirely different sonic character. The drums especially seem to suffer. The vocal on the previous version seemed about the right level to me, but there was some sort of doubling or chorus effect on them that took away from the awesomeness that is Adam. The vocal on this is punchier, though, so maybe you should take what you did to the vocal and apply it to the rest of the tracks. I hope that's constructive!

Holy shit! Its been a while since I heard Adam belt one out! Good on ya! Good job guys :)

Never forget a face. I met Adam at one of Ziti's shows outside of Boston somewhere. Great song guys! Make a few more songs like this and you will get out from between.
Thanks

Your kind words are much appreciated. This was a very fun song to sing on and Eddie is a great person to collaborate with.
Oddly enough, I'm in the camp that would like to hear this great sound bed higher in the mix... heheh! Seriously! I totally love how it builds at the end- especially when the synth really hits.
Eddie- thanks for letting me sing on this!
EEFliess
thank YOU for singing on it for me!
I had fun doing the song, I had even MORE fun when I had a vocal track to add to the mix...actually 5 vocal tracks, that magically turned into 7 vocal tracks.
Thanks Adam for lending your voice to this!
springclock
very cool piano intro.... good collab.... I can see why the kids here are a diggin it.... bring on more..... peace and future.... Ian

as Adam said...
"The Partridge Family called, they want their intro back please"

I definitely get the Neil Diamond vibe from the vocals. Neil is a great singer / songwriter so sounding like him isn't a bad thing. Also great work on the Guitar Ed. I really enjoyed this piece.

This reminds me of the beginning of the glam rock movement, especially SLADE, some Bowie, even some Billy Idol... I really enjoyed this one, perhaps because my own journey is bringing me on a tour bus of the 70's. I thought the beginning was very strong and expected something totally different (for a moment I thought ABBA). No matter what, this is a nice journey. I am NOT going to ask how you did this with a Maine-brother, but it came out very well. I like how you use the synths, the guitar is stiffing it up really tight, the vocals are right on (love the backing), great song!!!

this sounds great.Tremendous vocal. Are you going to use the Stonehenge monument when you perform this on stage? I believe that the band Spinal Tap has a Stonhenge prop for sale if you are interested.
Char
on one of Eddie's distinctive tunes. Enjoyed it and yes, it was Diamond and Bowie and Ocasek. Good job!
abfkingsport
Love the keyboards. I like the vocals as well. Very nice, well done.
Seems a bit unfinished, meaning it seems to have a break for a ripping lead. my only gripe but sounds good as it is.
The King

It's fantastic.
I'm a fan!
Great songwriting, lyrics and Vox!
Clarck! You got a nice rocky voice!
The guitars sound very well!
