Description
I don't think I've mentioned before that all of these "loops only" tunes which I've uploaded so far are from my album "Worldview". There are five or six left to post and then I'm planning to remix half-a-dozen or so of the (apparently) favorite ones, using some of the tips and techniques I've learned here.

This is a romantic piece in A minor which could have lyrics added (songwriters?). Please don't hesitate to comment, positively or not.

There's a...
...very nice rhythm set up at the top of this piece ... and the Malaguanya-type chording from the piano gets me in the "Spanish" mood...and then I am waiting for this to go somewhere...and it doesn't. I can hear all sorts of melodic possibilities, Richard. I hope you will start to explore those, as the loops/rhythms you are putting together are very engaging, indeed.
Peace.
Paul

Paul, thank you
for your kind words. The piano loops are "Latin Lounge" so definitely Spanish and the percussive rhythms seem to be a strong point of my tunes. Unfortunately, as you've pointed out, the melodic possibilities have gone unexplored: I'll have to leave those to musicians more talented than I to explore (hint, hint ;-)

Great Work
I just love your use of the Arab scale (Locrian Scale Western Hemisphere).
I just had to hear it again!

Steve, I've never heard of the Arab scale
or the Locrian Scale Western Hemisphere either, but I'm happy you like my use of it ;-) I'm glad too that you revisited and took the time to comment. Thanks.

I have long been a lover of music but, other than an elementary school introduction to playing the violin, I have no music training. I taught myself to play guitar (by ear) years ago but reached that point where I knew that to progress any further I ... [see more]
