cool sounding track. lyrics and delivery very good, music suits it well.
Only nitpick is that Vocal is a bit "out front" and dry-sounding... maybe could use a bit of reverb or compression or something? I'm not an expert in recording vocals but perhaps someone else could weigh in...
However, the talent is there! that's the important thing...

i agree, the vocal is a bit up front. ill bring it back some. maybe add some more reverb although I tend to dislike smearing the voice too much. also, I think i'll be doing another vocal track to accent specific parts of the song. this one will be reposted sometime in the near future.

I can imagine the windy city can get really cold and cutting. The music is really nice esp the strings as they give a dreamy texture to the track which matches the lyrics which is about memories.
I like the way you sing some lyrics and rap others, that works. Feedback, well I agree with Relic about the vocal, however compression would be best and the hollow beat needs a bit of compression as well as it hisses at the ends of the sound. Thats it really, not much feedback as the track has been done really well. Well done El, really liked this track.

very nice, loved the intro bars. I like your versatility..This is different than what ive heard from you.. hybrid spoken word/hip hop meets blues..deep beat and deep flow, you did a good job vocally on this..delivery and emotion was right on..very cool shit, look forward to our track dude.

i really appreciate you checking it out! I can't really take credit for the chord changes, other than that I selected the loop out of GB's loop library. I'm never confident about my mixes, so to hear that I'm doing something right means alot. ill be checking out some of yours!
