I haven't posted for a little while as I seemed to have hit a blank and come up with a couple of songs I wasn't able to finish. I pulled myself together and whipped up a little ditty to bring an air of light hearted jollity to the season, Merry Christmas to ALL.

Something about Christmas that seems to pull a person out of hibernation or state of suspended animation. It has been the same for me the past 6 months, until I decided to sing a Christmas song to jump start my upcoming new year. This song is lively and full of energy and you seem very inspired. see you here again Leon;I was only thinking about you last week. You're right that we seem to pull ourselves out of ourselves at times like this and we need to. I think sometimes we can try too hard and then nothing comes.... this one seemed to pull itself together reasonably quickly though, once I got started. Glad you like it too.

"You could have put this together in 5 minutes and it would have been great. It really does capture the spirit perfectly".

Beautiful little song. Get that number into a Jukebox and let the platter spin. Wonderful.

Really! I am a love the almost Franky Avalon Venus feeling in this. Though it is not at all like that, I really enjoy the light chorus singing in the background. Of course mixed in with your wonderful feel good approach to your music compositions.
And just hearing this delightful piece, it made me feel so good I think now I will go in the front room and light up our christmas tree :)

This is just good old fashioned holiday cheer! You mention so many traditions and feelings that go along with the season. Cute ending with that last bell going up instead of down.

I did wonder if all across the pond would get the 'pantomime' thing, but at the moment all our Christmas Pantomime's have top American actors taking part. It seemed to start a couple of years ago with Henry Winkler playing a baddie in one of them. He must have passed the word around 'cause we're over run with them now LOL. Regarding the last note' I almost played 'obviously' flat, to give a final smile, but went for the 'ping' of a silver star instead LOL, Merry Christmas Kristyjo, regards M

I love the happy light feeling you bring with your song. I can see how this would fit perfect as a soundtrack to some classic Christmas Disney cavalcade and also to every image I keep of the peaceful and relaxed holiday season.
