Description:
A collaboration with David Gómez Sanz (magullo). More at www.hungryforheaven.com.
Movement 3 seeks inspiration, asks some questions, finds a "moment of infusion," then realizes the journey has just begun. A quiet mantra-like entreaty finishes off this movement.

Lyrics:
We must lie, then must rise, led by the urging.
In the dark, in the light,
searching.
Feed my soul, quench me this day.
Fill my mind, teach me the way.
Feed my soul, quench me this day.
Fill my mind.
Sudden sensory overload,
expectant inhalation,
life-giving liquid to parted lips,
coursing of blood through neurons.
Who is the causal master of effect?
A shark in a dark pool hall?
Or a lover of harmonics
in a fantasyscape?
Grace and truth in the eyes of the mute
Lift the gate, unlock the door,
throw the bolt, shine the light,
approach the approachable.
I tried, I prayed,
I sighed, I cried.
There is only one thing that I ask,
There is only one thing that I need,
How to gently knock upon your door,
How to live in peace forevermore.

Well, as I keep saying, David Gómez Sanz is the inspiration for this whole song cycle. I am just following his lead.

The ambition evident in this piece is truly admirable, and the skill and musicianship you both bring to this is mightily impressive. Lovely guitar playing, and a really nice vocal. The sound on the keys is really rich and warm. Great arrangement, too. Terrific stuff. Nicely done to you both. Kudos. Peace.

another Schletty vocals and this is like a double dose of honey in a single serving!
Excellent. The instrumentation work nicely to enhance your excellent vocals!

"A taste of honey -- really much sweeter than wine." An old Folk-Rock song, Who sang that? It wasn't Roger Whittaker, was it?
